What kind of studies do you work on?

I will work on the development of fluorescent tracers for imaging and clinical applications.

Why do you want to do research in this field?

I have always liked to dive deep into a subject and discover novel, interesting findings. This is a prime opportunity to do so. Moreover, I have always been passionate about cancer research.

What is your background?

I am a pharmacist and studied pharmacy at the University of Groningen.

What relevant experiences did you gain during your study?

Pharmaceutical knowledge regarding, among other things, tracer, (sterile) production, IMPD’s and advanced lab skills. Furthermore, I gained organizational skills and worked in a team-based environment during my board year.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

I play the piano and the guitar and am part of a blues band. I also like to work out, play football, read, cook and play games.
